That was beautiful! Simply beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. As far as I know this was not shown in Australia. What dignity, and style Michelle Obama has, but more than anything her love and grace reached out and touched those girls and me! What an inspiration – there was no one in my young life as a schoolgirl who left their mark on me like that. I would endeavour to say every girl in that room will remember the day Michelle Obama addressed them at their school. Thank you for sharing that video.

Behind a every powerful man, stands a strong woman, a good woman, and very often, a powerful woman in her own right. History shows us this so very clearly. I strongly believe that all good relationships continue to function, simply due to the balance within that relationship. The President may lead the Nation but his wife has the potential to nurture the people. After seeing the video, I was moved in the way she accomplished just that, with passion, love and a deep understanding of exactly who she is. It is also a sign of the time in which we live, to see two African Americans leading the American people. Remembering that there has also to be a balance, between those that will be led and those that will lead.
