15 Seconds – What are We Doing To Each Other? #1
Life is not always pretty. I am posting this video as a reminder. Very powerfully it shows the senselessness of war – whatever ‘side’ you might be on. This video could have been taken anywhere – Afghanistan, Iraq, Israel, Palestine, Pakistan – wherever injustice, cruelty and racial hatred reign. I think it is important that we don’t forget.

I’m so moved by the video of 15 seconds and pray for a peaceful solution to such troubled times. I express this in the best way I can with my song for peace, ‘Salaam Shalom’:
Words and Music written by Lynn Holland
Looking at my life
What has it all been for
What is the purpose of my life
If you don’t hear the words I feel
That I am here to give
about the way that we could live
Look at you and me
I’m asking you to change
What happens when we disagree
It’s crazy ‘cause the pain
We cause each other needs to end
Can’t we be friends
Take a chance
Make peace our dance
Don’t let it be too late… to sing
Salaam Shalom
Salaam Shalom
Peace be on earth
Salaam Shalom
Turn it all around
Forget about the past
And build our power in the sound
Of laughter no more crying
Fill the future full of hope
Bring harmony to you and me
What is there to lose
So much is lost, come on
It’s time, you know we have to choose
Tomorrow. It can’t be as it has been
We must move on and
Live the dream
Take a chance
Make peace our dance
Don’t let it be too late… to sing
Salaam Shalom
Salaam Shalom
Peace be on earth
Salaam Shalom
Salaam Shalom
Salaam Shalom
Peace be on earth
Salaam Shalom
